Just This Day
I am up and Adam this morning. I left home at 5:10 am. I am now at Starbucks, and I will be going to The YMCA with my mother at 10:30 am. The week has passed by so quickly. I am ready for the weekend. It is generally slower in some way. My mind is like an alligator slithering into a golf pond. I lay in wait for a stupid golfer to come and test my patience and virulence. Creativity is what I wish for, but I think that I only have spunk instead. Maybe it is all a comic book in my head. Thank you for the ride last night, Paul. You were quite the knight in the night. It is nice to sometimes not have to take the bus. I am grateful for our great transit system here, but a transportation surprise is fun. You get to be a super hero. We will call you TRANSPORT MAN. You are a very safe driver. Today I am thinking of things I want to get done this month. I just need to keep track of the days, because the month can go fast. I watched two movies last night when I could not sleep. One was, The Cure For Wellness, which reminded me of Shutter Island, and Live By Night. The second was a gangster film set in the late 20's and 30's. They kept my attention, and I was close to a time that I could come to Starbucks. The first movie was pretty creepy, but I did figure it out fairly quickly. I will now just sit as a dove on the highway light, and ponder whether I feel cold at all.
