Rocky Mountain Authority

The Rocky Mountains are one of the most beautiful sites in North America. It is the result of plate tectonic activity as one is pushed down, the other is pushed up. The glaciers then made them more rugged. Mountains are necessary for the proper movement of water on a continent and a side result of separating and enhancing populations. I have skied in Colorado. I was based in Breckenridge, at the base of the mountain. I then also skied Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin. I was in 5th grade. I skied a double black diamond all by myself. It took a lot of concentration, but I never fell, and I was successful as people watched at the base. That was Arapahoe Basin. Weather going up the mountain in a tour bus was a complete white out blizzard. Plate tectonics are about to be a field of study beyond just geology and will become more of a climatology. Their influence on weather is stunning, but the boundaries that they provide is heavenly. The Rockies are special because they could eventually divide The United States. Climatological changes may make them unable to cross and the igneous rocks at their base cannot be tunneled through anymore even with a diamond drill bit. It is time to shore up if you want to be part of east or west. Think about it. We stay in a safe space in our brains, but persons with almighty power can be wherever they wish to be.
