Law Enforcement Speak for My Cover Has Been Blown

Four Sheriff's officers just walked through Caribou. I walked up to the one who was sitting alone and told him that I toured the jail system in Ramsey County in high school under the guise of "Girl's County." I have been hooked to that Sheriff system since then. I believe that this man was BLACKFOOT tribe (native american). This was the first time I have seen him. I deal with tough cases in the community, both male and female, under the guise of friendship and/ or boyfriend relationship. I think he saw in my eyes that I did not want to cry. I just smiled and walked away instead. The sergeant then made a phone call outside.
