Friday Activity

I am at Starbucks in The IDS. This morning has held many law enforcement officers coming thru on the road and here. At this location, in the first 15 minutes, 2 crews of two Minneapolis Police have come through. One pair is my favorite two Russian Marines. They trained me when I was wee on Waikiki. They are military masterminds now and geniuses, tested in The West at the age of two, roaming the streets here together. I have only seen them separated of late, but now they are back as a dynamic duo. They definitely ARE NOT the ambiguously gay duo from Saturday Night Live. I had a good physical therapy session. Even at The Courage Center, there was a security guard when I came in, and I have seen security there before. When I was waiting for the bus, I heard what sounded like a huge explosion. This Somali teen came to the stop and asked the time and I asked him if he had heard the large boom. He looked a little scared, so I said that it was probably construction. He said that there was a construction project up the street. Maybe it was sonic boom in The Middle East that he and I heard as a result of communities colliding in our vicinity. I stayed in and stayed quiet last night. I am feeling a little like I have been out in public, around people, a lot of late. I will have a quiet weekend, I hope.
