Exciting Visit to The Zoo
I just went to The Como Zoo. At first the animals were sleepy, but then they came alive. The lemurs were hiding and then they jumped up to where I was at the glass. The gorillas were all asleep, but then I came back before I left and pulsed some energy at Virgil. He got up and looked at me. Sampson then got up as well. They both came to the glass. Virgil then put his back to the glass and let me do some energy work that he does respond to by little jumps as I pulse. The arctic foxes are so beautiful white. They were just curled up all cozy and calm. Normally they pace around their enclosure. The WOLVES were actually out, both of them. I haven't seen them in years. The male wolf came over as soon as I told my companion that I hadn't seen them in years. He was also so beautiful and white. The male and female lions were just sleeping right next to each other near the glass. The spotted leopard was actually on display. I haven't seen that beautiful cat in years. The Siberian Tiger was just sitting very square when I came to the glass. He then walked up and practiced some scratching on the tree and did some EXPLORING of his enclosure. He usually paces over and over. We then saw that the Dall Sheep were being a family. The mother was up on the rocks and then the male went over to the baby and pushed him up the rocks. He gingerly jumped to a stable place with wobbling knees. The male then took the top spot on the rocks. I have never seen them on these rocks together and interacting as they would in the wild. We stopped to see the buffalo and they were eating. The alpha went over and pushed the second in line toward the other buffalo's food. They moved around a little and the alpha came over to the fence where we were. I told him how pretty he is. He then rushed a little and I felt a surge of energy in my knees. He hit the electrical wire. It was SOOOOO cool. We then went to see the polar bears. They are rarely out, but today BOTH of these male twins were out. One was stretching and sleeping on a rock and the other one was swimming round and round his water pool. It was really neat. It was the most active and interactive visit I have had at ANY zoo. I am pretty tired, but I feel that I did a great job of observing.
