Wade's Visit
After the last few days of entries, I feel like I should write a little about Wade, the private pilot I met when I was just getting off of work at Smokey Bones. He saw me and recognized me from The Wild Beaver. His boss was centralized in Louisville, KY, thus that is where he had flown from that night. He had a strong fraternity vibe. He was confident and kind to me. He was a real gentleman. He dealt well with the chaos around us. He told me about his mom and his family, but not his sister who was tied to Will VanBank's sister who I met in Muncie. She stole $90 from me to buy crack. I felt like that was a compliment that he shared. He trusted me with his phone number. I only called him ONCE. It was a day that there had been less than an inch of snow and The Federal Building was shut down. He told me that he would take care of it. I spoke so well of my environment even though it was so cruel. He kept them all at bay. Where ever he is, I wish him well today.
