Just to let first responders know, in WWII MEDICS were the high in hierarchy. My Great Uncle Karl (South Pacific), my Great Uncle Martin (Great Aunt Vi's husband), and John Forrest (South Pacific) were all MEDICS. My Great Aunt Jenn would get letters from Karl that were almost all blacked out. These men disappeared for years without a peep. Maybe first responders, especially my top secret ambulance workers from 2 weeks ago, will now breath at ease and feel how special and essential they are to all society. Thank you for being there for me.
