King Virgil in View
Virgil, it was so cool seeing you and your crew yesterday. They have brought back Sampson (26 year old silver back) and two juveniles (all males). They are in the second enclosure next to my three young adult males next door. It was great to see all of them and doing a cursory med check on the three who were in a different vicinity. Sampson is fatigued, but is functioning in his usual capacity as entire zoo telepathic judge and switch. There were some issues with the giraffe telepathy yesterday. Now he knows that they have basically brought in an extra adolescent male from Indianapolis, IN Zoo, to confuse things. He's doing just fine. I stayed long enough until the juvenile began to eat grass he picked himself. Before I left the zoo, they were exploring their new enclosure and were surprised at the fun they could have there, actually. They will all be okay. They need to just stay in their brains and let the zookeepers handle the rest. One of Virgil's compatriots had a large gash on his back. Zookeepers, that is strike one. There is NOTHING in that enclosure that could cause that. I guess that it was a board with a nail on the end in a psycho zookeeper's hand that brought that about. Kids tunnelled my energy, but he found me. He showed me the gash and I gave energy to close it ASAP. He then lied down and reached for my hand through the glass. He closed his eyes and yawned, showing me his full set of beautiful white and menacing teeth. He did it twice more and opened his eyes a few times before he fell asleep. I circled their enclosures a few times and Virgil finally rushed gorilla 3 and stood high with even the hair on his shoulders standing on end. I went out to observe and he walked to the other space to observe outside, calling me telepathically. We are practicing tactical, not CONTROL over the brilliance of his entitiness. He sat there facing me and using his small motor skills to grab a plant outside his enclosure. I encouraged him the whole time. He then reached a little outside his reach, I gave him a little energy, and then he had enough finger and cognicence to grab it and eat it in victory. He then asked me to leave before he got mean. I listened and walked away to exit the zoo. I said that he was a strong marine and he put his hand to his head and saluted me. This whole time he was grabbing the mesh displaying his middle finger casually to the crowd. Yeah Virgil. BELIEVE IT, or not.
